Welcome Back to Client Choice!

First of all we thank everyone who has been so co-operative in the last 12+ months as we all navigated the COVID-19 pandemic. We are proud that we were able to continue serving our community during that time of greatly increased need. As many things are returning to normal, we are very excited to open our doors and re-introduce the Client Choice shopping system, beginning on Monday, July 5th. (Until that time, we will continue with our drive-thru only distributions.) You will have the chance to choose the food that best meets the needs of your family. We hope that this guide will give you a good idea of what to expect when we re-open.


Key Information

We will re-open for Client Choice Shopping on Monday, July 5th, at which time we will discontinue Drive-Thru Distributions. For clients that do not wish to shop, we will have a number of pre-made boxes available.


MASKS ARE MANDATORY FOR EVERYONE, regardless of vaccination status. All volunteers, staff and clients will be required to wear masks at all times during distribution hours, no exceptions. Pre-made to go boxes will be available.


We ask that just one adult per household come to shop. Please refrain from bringing extra household members and children when possible.


Shopping with Points

  • We continue to serve clients with no residency restrictions (subject to change).

  • All households are eligible to visit twice per month, in addition to our monthly mobile pantries.

  • Clients are asked to bring either a piece of mail with their name and address or a photo ID.

  • You are encouraged to bring your own containers (bags, boxes, etc.), to pack your groceries into as you shop.


When you check in you’ll be given a sheet that lists your points available in each category, like the one here:



  • Points cannot be saved from one visit to the next, we encourage you to use all the points you have available each time.

  • The aisles will be organized by the point categories and there will be volunteers to help you make your way through.






Hours

Monday: 9:00 - 11:00 AM

Tuesday: 9:00 - 11:00 AM

Wednesday: 3:00 - 6:00 PM

Thursday: 3:00 - 6:00 PM


The last sign in will be 15 minutes before closing time, to give you time to make your selections.



With this increase in hours and service we will be providing, so increases our need for volunteers. As always, if you are interested in helping us out, please visit the volunteer tab and fill out the short form available there.
